Time for the essentials

The nursing profession is often associated with impersonal assembly line work and staff shortages. We clearly distance ourselves from this. At opseo, we attach great importance to ensuring that our employees have enough time to deal with their patients and respond to their individual needs.

With this in mind, we also advocate an appropriate staff ratio. In this way, we create a pleasant working atmosphere in which no one is ignored - the prerequisite for more personal relationships between our nursing staff and their patients.

Collegial working atmosphere in a perfectly coordinated team

A pleasant working atmosphere always depends heavily on your colleagues. Especially in such a challenging profession as intensive care nursing, it is important to be able to rely on your colleagues. That is why it is very important to us to strengthen the relationships between our employees.

Our employees get to know each other better at regular team events. Team-building events also strengthen cohesion and lay the foundations for smooth cooperation.

Careful induction and good support

The profession of intensive care nurse comes with great responsibility. Our employees should be introduced to this responsibility at their own pace until they are ready to take it on fully and independently. This requires a good and extensive induction process, which at opseo takes four to six weeks. Experienced mentors accompany this process, help them to find their feet and are always ready to listen.

We are aware that working as an intensive care nurse can be very emotionally stressful. Regular staff meetings and supervision sessions help, for example, when patients are lost or in other emotionally demanding situations.

Long-term employment

Each of our employees fulfills an individual role in our team and in the daily lives of our patients. It is precisely this personal connection that is an important aspect of the intensive care profession. With this in mind, we always try to supplement our team, not replace it. The strength of our team is based not least on the many years of experience of our employees. We also help them to shape their career with us according to their personal ideas.

At opseo, we work to secure a solid workforce, offer attractive salaries and a wide range of career opportunities combined with a variety of professional challenges.

A career tailored to your needs

The first of our training stages is the DIGAB (German Interdisciplinary Society for Out-of-Hospital Ventilation) accredited training to become an out-of-hospital ventilation nurse. In our training center at BaWiG, this is regularly deepened through further and advanced training.

BaWiG has developed an e-learning portal exclusively for us, which our employees can use to complete an important part of these training courses, in order to make the mandatory training courses as convenient as possible for them.

Thanks to BaWiG, we are also able to offer a wide range of accredited training courses. In cooperation with the UNI WITTEN/HERDECKE, our training courses take into account the latest research results and findings in the field of intensive care.

All of this enables us to guarantee you a very personal career structure at opseo and to offer you a wide range of career opportunities.
